Giada Peron
Astrophysicists, Ph.D.
I am an INAF fellow at the Osservatorio Astrofisico of Arcetri in Florence working with the high energy astrophysics group.
My research focus on Galactic sources of gamma rays with a final goal of disentangling which are the main cosmic-ray accelerators inside the Milky Way. You can read about the results of my research here.
I work with high-energy astrophysics data and I am a member of the ASTRI-MiniArray and CTAO collaboration, and for both I serve as coordinator for the Galactic science working group.
I was recently awarded of the prestigious L'Oreal-Unesco for Women in science prize (read more about the prize here) and more recently of the G. Bignami prize.
