How to reach Pisa

The best way to get to Pisa from abroad is by plane.  

The Pisa International Airport is the main airport of Tuscany, and is conveniently located just 1 km outside the city of Pisa. The heart of the city can be reached from the airport by bus or by taxi in less than 15 mins.

The train station is located in the southern part of the city centre and provides the most efficient connection to the surroundings. 

Accommodation

Participants are encouraged to book  their hotel rooms, apartments or b&b from popular accommodation websites (e.g. booking, airbnb and similar). We recommend accommodations within ~20 mins walking distance from the Leaning tower (see map), preferably in the South and South-East directions.  Accommodations close to the train station are not recommended.

We also encourage the participants to book their room as soon as possible: fares and availabilities can vary substantially in Spring.
