Alberto Sanna
Senior researcher at the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) - Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari (OAC), Italy
I have extensive experience in radio and millimeter interferometric observations, both with spectral lines and continuum emission, and, as principal investigator, I have been awarded more than 450 hr observing time at major international facilities so far. My research is focused on studying Galactic star formation, from the scales of individual young stellar objects (<< 0.1 pc) up to the scales of Galactic spiral arms (ca. kpc), and it covers 3 main areas of interest:
Dynamics and physical conditions of circumstellar gas (and dust) near to young massive stars;
Feedback processes at clump scales;
Structure and kinematics of the Milky Way.
