RU at INAF (located in Bologna -OAS-, Milano -IASF, OA Brera- and Padova -Observatory) will lead: WP-X on X-ray data analysis of the CHEX-MATE sample (Ettori, Rossetti, Molendi, De Grandi, Ghizzardi); WP-L on optical and lensing data analysis of both the CHEX-MATE and KiDS samples (Giocoli, Radovich, Sereno); WP-O on the outreach and dissemination of the results (Bardelli, Rossetti, Zucca). The exploitation of the CHEX-MATE data will be coordinated by the program’s PI (Ettori), the persons responsible for the X-ray data reduction (Rossetti), and for lensing reduction and modeling (Radovich, Sereno), together with our international partners, including the other CHEX-MATE PI G. Pratt (Saclay, France).
RU at Univ Bologna (Moscardini, Marulli) will lead WP-T on Theory and Simulations and will be responsible for the preparation of the tools to use galaxy cluster number counts and clustering as efficient methods to get competitive cosmological constraints to be applied (mainly) on the KiDS samples (our participation to the KiDS collaboration allows us to have access to the data before their public release); the same RU will support the effort to interpret and model the results in WP-X, WP-S and WP-L with the analysis of hydrodynamical cosmological simulations (produced mostly from our collaborators at the Munich Univ -Magneticum / ref. Dr K. Dolag; Univ Madrid -the300 / ref. Prof G. Yepes; Manchester Univ -BAHAMAS+MACSIS / ref. Dr. S. Kay) with the contribution of staff researchers at INAF.
RU at Univ Roma Tor Vergata (Mazzotta, Bourdin) is responsible for WP-S on the SZ data reduction and analysis of the CHEX-MATE sample; it will coordinate the joint X-ray/SZ analysis with INAF and the complementary analysis of hydrodynamical simulations with Univ Bologna to assess robustly an estimate of H0 at very high confidence.
