Many people ask for a small display. We have created a simple adaptor between iMX6 Rex board and ETV570G6DHU 5.7″ display with Touchscreen (touchscreen has not been not tested yet). Once we test also the touchscreen, the adaptor production data will be available for free in download area or you can order it directly from VOIPAC.
Datasheet of the display can downloaded here: ETV570G6DHU datasheet
This is my first draft of iMX6 Rex Box:
Let’s see how it will look when we apply the proper scale and when we create a 3D model.
We are very happy to announce, that we prepared one iMX6 Rex Development kit for our Community Developers. Everyone who is actively engaged in Software / Hardware development can ask to borrow this kit. There are no charges – its free. Please, return the kit in the same condition as you receive it ( or better ).
Ramin is the first developer who will receive the kit. Ramin ported Ogre3D to the iMX6 Rex board. Ogre 3D is now running perfectly with all the colors. I will prepare a short video in coming days.
Thank you very much for supporting iMX6 Project.
For everyone who would like to run some 3D games on i.MX6. Follow these instructions written by Ramin, an excellent iMX6 Rex software contributor, about how to to build and run Ogre 3D for i.MX6.
