How I Continue To Grow As A Reader?

Sing Down the Moon AM, setting and characters.pdf

Why Share This Piece Of Evidence And Why Now?

I chose this piece of evidence because I thought that it really showed how I improved with understanding my literature. Now to reflect on this specific piece of work, I can describe in depth of a character, setting or event. For example, in this Final Exam I did well on describing the genre setting and characters. Another thing that i have grown on is my lexile range. In August it was *830-980 and now it is 990-1080.

How Do I Continue To Grow As A Writer?

Why Share This Piece Of Evidence And Why Now?

I chose this piece of evidence because it shows how hard I worked on researching and how long it took me to write this essay. Also it shows that I can logically order reasons that are supported by facts and details. I can do this because I know that when I was writing my essay, I put evidence to back it up. I can also introduce each topic clearly. For example, to start the next subject I either introduced it or said what we last started out with and then introduced the next topic. To add on to that, I think that I can provide a concluding statement because at the very very end I stated that, " Even though it's a big event, it doesn't mean that we have to make it a hard solution. We can make the world a better place, step by step."

How Do I Continue To Grow As A Mathematician?

Why Share This Piece Of Evidence And Why Now?

I choose to use this piece of evidence because I understand it the most out of all of the other investigations in the second trimester. I can interpret a fraction as a division of the numerator by the denominator ( a/b = a divided by b) ( a/b = 1/4). I can solve word problems involving division of whole numbers leading to the answers in the form of fractions or fixed numbers. For example, on this piece of evidence we had show visuals of how we got the answers, just like how when Me and Brayden used the double number-line and the ratio table. Or we used visual models to show our work. I also can, solve real world problems involving multiplication of fractions and mixed numbers, by using visual fraction models or equations to represent the problem. For example, for this poster we had to figure what fraction amount made up the whole, like on Mark's strategy he had 3 2/8's x 8 and that equaled 26. Or to say on Rachel's strategy she went by the amount of flags not water bottles, each flag was marked on every 1/12 of the 26 mile marathon. And finally, I can apply extend previous understandings of multiplication to multiply a fraction or whole number fraction. For example, in this piece of evidence, Me and Brayden used a fraction and multiplied it until we got to 26.

How Have I Developed My Mathematical Practices?

What are some strategies I use to to explain my thinking? Some strategies I use to explain my thinking is like the strategy called the double number line. Just like on the marathon investigation I used the double number line. I also used the strategy called Ratio Table, on the ratio table you have to use patterns or numbers that make up the number or fraction that you are left with too calculate. Now, how do I use what I know to solve new problems? I use what I know to solve problems to make it faster and easier. Just like how for the marathon investigation when we where trying to figure out what the decimal number or fraction number was we multiplied and also did algorithm. How do I work carefully and check my work? I work carefully by sorting and focusing on one problem at a time, just like on the marathon investigation. I carefully check my work by using more than one strategies so then I know why and how I either got the answer correct or wrong.
