St. Nick Project (2021)

I was especially involved in this year's St. Nick Project. I requested grants from different organizations and people and was able to secure over $3,000 in monetary donations from individuals and corporations such as Target, CVS, and Costco. I also hand made over 150 cards. We made and distributed nearly 500 bags and cards this year, in addition to 28 dog care packages which I personally bought materials for and assembled. Youth Prom and First Fridays (2021)

On the First Friday of each month, our youth group hosts a fun event for students to bring their friends to. With the rest of my leadership team, I planned and executed three smaller events in March, April, and May before our "Grand Finale" event, a prom, in June. Above are pictures from the prom as well as a planning document we used for all four events and a spreadsheet I made to organize volunteer roles for the prom.

St. Nick Project (2020)

Every year, our youth group does a service project that we call the St. Nick Project. We put together care packages for the homeless, pray over each one individually, then personally hand them out to homeless communities. We include things such as packaged snacks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, soap, and even feminine products. This year, we had around 300 bags, and each of these bags came with a handwritten card. Our family alone made 200 of those cards. The purpose of this project is to show God's love to the less privileged people on our islands.

Baked Goods Delivery (2020)

In May of 2020, there was an incident in Minneapolis that led to criticism of the men and women working in law enforcement. While it is true that not all officers have good intentions, most of them do, and my friend and I wanted to show our appreciation toward our local police officers. We made over 300 cookies from scratch, packaged them, and delivered them to the Kailua Police Department.
