Among participants, we plan to have about 30 students and researchers from Benin, Nigeria, Togo and Ghana, and 20 CIMPA participants from other countries in the Sub-Saharan region. We may also have additional foreign participants not covered with CIMPA’s support.

Currently, there are no COVID related restrictions in Benin, the government recommends adhering to the usual hygiene rules and to wearing masks. In public transport, masks are mandatory.
We recommend that you check if you have all necessary vaccinations for travelling to Benin, for example, a yellow fever vaccination is mandatory to enter Benin.
African nationals (with African passports) don't need a visa to travel to Benin. Others can obtain an e-visa here: https://evisa.bj/. When applying for the visa you can use the following residence address in Benin: Institut de Mathématiques et de Sciences Physiques, Quartier Avakpa, BP 613, Porto-Novo, Bénin.
The Local Organizing Committee will arrange some shuttles. However, for private transportation, they are few companies such as Benin Taxi ( +229 97296020 / 97389325) et GoZém (62374949).
