Big data is having a strong impact on traditional data management with many new solutions and technologies, adapted to different needs. In order to help you navigate through a complex landscape and make strategic choices, this school reviews big data architectures and best practices.

Participants will learn how to install and use a popular big data framework (Spark), in developing a real use case project. Some datasets of interest will be proposed, but participants can come with their own datasets, e.g. of interest to their organization, to propose their own project.

This school is for IT professionals, researchers and (Master level) students in Computer Science, with good knowledge of programming (Java, Python) and databases.
The registration fees are $200. The number of participants is limited to 40. Only 23 places still available.
