Welcome to the online workshop!
State-of-the-art spectro-microscopy and micro-spectroscopy are inevitable and powerful tools for unraveling the mysteries of materials science. The importance of scientific discussion and accumulating deep knowledge cannot be overemphasized. Due to the unexpected world situation of a virus pandemic, we have lost the opportunity to visit and cooperate with each other. However, recent advances in information technology have given us the means to meet across national borders. This “Next-generation spectro-microscopy and micro-spectroscopy workshop” aims to be a new solution to the next leap forward.
Here, we focus on imaging techniques that use X-ray absorption and photoelectron emission processes. Scanning transmission X-ray microscopy and momentum-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy are the starting points. We also pay attention to the related methods. We would like to thank all our colleagues for accepting our suggestions and for sharing important progress and prospects in this area with us. We welcome anyone interested in participating in this new technological development and application in materials science.
See you Online!
