Meryl holds an M.Ed. and a Certificate of Online Learning and Teaching (COLT) from the Learning Design and Technology program at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. She is the recipient of the 2025 Berniske Outstanding Master's Project Award. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design and a B.A. in American Studies from The George Washington University. She is a Certified Associate in Project Management from PMI.
