The Impervious Standard: 18+ Years in the Field

​Impervious LLC was built on the belief that to protect a building, you have to understand it from every angle. The building envelope is a lifelong trade I have mastered through decades of hands-on labor.

• ​The Foundation (Age 15–2009): I began my career at 15, mastering the high-end marble and granite trade from the ground up. My formative years at Gallegos instilled a "zero-error" mindset for the luxury finishes demanded in the Vail Valley.

• ​The Shell (2009–2013): I dedicated five years to structural roofing and federal-grade waterproofing with TRC (The Roofing Company). This included two years on-site at the Air Force Base in Wyoming, where the standards for protection and technical accuracy are absolute.

• ​The Specialist (2013–2026): Throughout a 13-year tenure with Summit Sealants- rising from Field Laborer to General Foreman and ultimately Working Superintendent- I mastered the technical execution of complex expansion control, carbon fiber wraps, fire sealants, and Monaco systems. My field expertise includes the application of spray-on, hot-applied, cold-applied, and specialized waterproofing, with years of high-access experience operating man lifts and 40-ft/32-ft ladders to deliver precision on the most demanding mountain job sites. 

• ​I’ve been on job sites since before I was 15, learning these trades from the bottom up. Even as a Working Superintendent, I’ve never left the field. In the mountains, you have to be a problem solver who can troubleshoot on the fly. When I say it’s impervious, I mean it.
