Yang-Baxter Equation in Group Theory, Category Theory and Noncommutative Geometry

Few equations have had such an impact on modern algebra as the Yang-Baxter equation.
Originally introduced in statistical mechanics and quantum integrable systems, it has profoundly influenced the development of pure mathematics, playing a key role in quantum group theory, knot theory, low-dimensional topology, category theory, representation theory, and noncommutative geometry. Over the past decades, the study of its set-theoretical solutions has inspired the introduction of several new algebraic structures, including racks, quandles, braces, and trusses, revealing unexpected connections between different areas of mathematics.
Our aim is to gather researchers working on the Yang-Baxter equation from complementary perspectives, bringing together expertise from group theory, category theory, noncommutative geometry, and neighbouring areas, and highlighting the many interactions between these subjects.
The conference welcomes contributions on all aspects of the Yang-Baxter equation and related topics, including set-theoretical and linear solutions, Hopf algebras, skew braces, tensor and braided monoidal categories, noncommutative geometry, representation theory, quantum topology, integrable systems, and other algebraic, geometric, and categorical structures connected with the Yang-Baxter equation.
The meeting will be organised in Będlewo with arrival date 04th April (Sunday) and departure 10th April (Saturday).
People interested in participating are kindly asked to fill in the registration form.

It happens more and more often that participants to conferences experience attempts to extort money or information via emails, or phone calls, or messages, for instance from would-be "travel agencies" to ensure accommodation.
We do not have any agreement with travel agencies or hotels to reserve accommodation or flights for participants. If we have to contact you, we will do this via the official email address yangbaxter@impan.pl our email personal addresses. Please, if you are contacted by anybody offering help in reserving accommodation or travels, or if you receive an email and are not sure if it comes from us, get in touch with one of the organisers or write to yangbaxter@impan.pl.
