11:30, dr hab. Kamil Szpojankowski, Title: "Free Askey--Wilson functionals and geometric last passage percolation"
Abstract: I will introduce free Askey--Wilson functionals and show how they provide a new description of the stationary measure of geometric last passage percolation. This perspective makes it possible to derive explicit generating functions and to analyze their asymptotics. As a result, we obtain the full phase diagram in the large-scale limit. I will also explain how this approach leads to a Poisson limit theorem.
Based on joint work with Włodzimierz Bryc (University of Cincinnati) and Jacek Wesołowski (Warsaw University of Technology).
13:15 , mgr TiJakub Woźnicki, Title: Stochastic parabolic equations in Musielak-Orlicz spaces with discontinuous-in-time N function
Abstract: We consider a stochastic parabolic partial differential equation with Dirichlet boundary conditions, multiplicative stochastic noise, and a monotone parabolic operator A. The growth and coercivity of A is controlled by a general N-function M, which depends on time, and spatial variable, but we do not assume any regularity with respect to the former. We show the existence of weak solutions to such system. As auxiliary result, we also provide the proof for the Ito's formula in Orlicz spaces. This general result applies to the ones studied in the literature, such as p(t, x)-Laplacian and double phase problems. During the talk we will recall the notion of Musielak-Orlicz spaces, as well as Orlicz spaces and discuss the difficulties that come with such setting.

11:30, prof. dr hab. Tomasz Komorowski, Title: "Some new Dirichlet type boundary conditions for a one-dimensional fractional diffusion ."
Abstract. We investigate heat transport in a one-dimensional unpinned oscillator chain with stochastic momentum exchange, in contact with Langevin heat baths placed at both ends of the chain. While such a system is known to exhibit superdiffusive energy transport in the infinite-volume limit, a rigorous understanding of the corresponding boundary conditions has been lacking. We consider a finite chain of $n+1$ atoms, coupled at its endpoints to heat baths at temperatures $T_L$ and $T_R$, and study the evolution of the averaged energy profile under the superdiffusive time scale $t \mapsto n^{3/2} t$. We prove that, as $n \to \infty$, the empirical energy profile converges to the solution of a fractional heat equation driven by the Neumann fractional Laplacian $|\Delta|^{3/4}$ inside the interval $[0,1]$, with boundary boundary conditions determined by the temperatures of the heat baths. These conditions fix the temperatures at the endpoints of $[0,1]$. The limiting equation exhibits both a bulk Lévy-type superdiffusion and nonlocal boundary interactions, explicitly determined from the microscopic dynamics. Our analysis establishes the hydrodynamic limit without passing through an intermediate kinetic description, and clarifies the mechanism by which the microscopic Langevin reservoirs select the macroscopic boundary conditions in the superdiffusive regime. The results extend and complement previous work on infinite systems and highlight the contrast with pinned chains, where standard diffusive limits apply. Our talk is based on a joint work with Stefano Olla.
13:15 , prof. dr hab. Łukasz Stettner, Title: "Discrete time shadow price."
Abstract: We consider a discrete time market with several assets such each of them has bid and ask prices. Given utility from terminal wealth functional we consider the price (called shadow price) such that the value function is the same as in the case of transaction costs (with bid and ask prices). The construction is based on a direct backward programming approach contrary to the works of W. Schachermayer and his group of collaborators (they use dual aproach). The result is a joint paper with T. Rogala completes other joint papers. The novelty is in the fact that we have several assets, general strictly concave utility function and general discrete time prices, and the only assumption is a nondegeneracy of conditional laws.

11:30, prof. Zdzisław Brzeźniak, York University, U.K., Title: "Weak martingale solutions to stochastic Navier-Stokes-Cahn-Hilliard system with transport noise"
Abstract: In this talk, we investigate the weak solvability of an initial
boundary value problem known as the Navier-Stokes-Cahn-Hilliard
system, which describes the dynamics of a homogeneous, incompressible
and isothermal mixture of two immiscible Newtonian fluids flowing in a
bounded 2D or 3D domain under stochastic perturbations.
We assume that the density and viscosity of the mixture are constants
and, to prove the existence result, we consider an approximation
problem and use the Jakubowski-Skorohod Theorem to prove that the laws
of the corresponding solutions on a certain non-metric topological
space Z_T have a sequence weakly convergent to a new probability
measure on Z_T.
Now, by following the argument of Mikulevicius and Rozovskii in their
paper ( Ann. Probab. 33(1) (2005), 137--176) with some modifications,
we prove that the canonical process on the space Z_T is in fact a
martingale solution of our problem with respect to the new measure.
The approach is quite interesting compared to the existence approach
in the literature, since we combine both the Jakubowski-Skorohod
theorem and the Mikulevicius and Rozovskii argument to deal with our
problem.

13:15, prof. dr hab. Ryszard Rudnicki, IM PAN, Title: "Ergodic and chaotic properties of partial differential equations and their applications"
Abstract: We will begin with a brief introduction to the study of chaotic and ergodic properties of dynamical systems (streams) determined by partial differential equations. The main topic will be to show the construction of invariant measures for flows determined by first-order semilinear partial differential equations [1]. Such equations generate a flow on certain function spaces.
The construction of such a measure uses a random field called a d-parameter Brownian-Lévy process and the isomorphism of the aforementioned flow with translation along the radii of a sphere. We will give examples of applications in biological models: the spatial distribution of population size and flow with random jumps from the edge to the interior of the area,
used to describe the evolution of the maturity distribution of erythrocyte precursors when there is no external control of their production. At the end of the lecture, we will present the results concerning invariant measures for the flow generated by the heat equation [2].
The construction of such a measure will include, among other things, a stationary Gaussian process whose trajectories have rather surprising properties.

Warunki zachowania porządków transformacji czasów życia komponentów o jednakowym rozkładzie przez czas życia
systemu
o monotonicznej intensywności awarii IFR i DFR i jej uogólnieniach $\alpha$-IGFR i $\alpha$-DGFR, malejącej odwróconej
intensywności awarii DRFR i jej uogólnieniach $\alpha$-DRFR oraz $\alpha$-IRFR, o monotonicznej uśrednionej
intensywności awarii IFRA i DFRA i jej uogólnieniach $\alpha$-IGFRA i $\alpha$-DGFRA, rozkładów typów "lepszy niż używany" i

W referacie przedstawię ujednolicone, operatorowe podejście do zagadnienia

Tytuł: O funkcjonałach całkowych izotropowych pól Gaussowskich i stowarzyszonych równaniach hipergeometrycznych.
Streszczenie: Opowiem o związku miedzy klasą równań zwyczajnych drugiego rzędu, a momentami wykładniczych funkcjonałów całkowych scentrowanych, izotropowych pól Gaussowskich na odcinku [0,1]. Jeśli jądro kowariancji jest odpowiednio regularne, a współczynniki równania odpowiednio zadane, moment wykładniczy zadaje reprezentację probabilistyczną jedynego, analitycznego rozwiązania stowarzyszonego problemu Cauchy'ego.

Nasze rozważania naturalnie prowadzą do twierdzeń
dotyczących miar Levy’ego, które zanikają w nieskończoności
wykładniczo i podwykładniczo. Identyfikujemy w sposób ostry pewne
przejścia jakościowe, które występują we wspomnianych własnościach
zaniku, a tym samym rozszerzamy i unifikujemy klasyczne
wyniki Carmony, Mastersa i Simona [2] dla ułamkowego laplasjanu
(zanik podwykładniczy) oraz operatorów relatywistycznych (zanik
wykładniczy). Wspomniane zmiany tempa zaniku funkcji własnych
mają ciekawą interpretację probabilistyczno-energetyczną,
o której także opowiem podczas swojego wystąpienia.

Tytuł: Calibration Bands for Mean Estimates within the Exponential Dispersion Family
Abstract: A statistical model is said to be calibrated if the expected value of the responses for a given mean estimate matches this mean estimate. Testing for calibration has only been considered recently in the literature and we propose a new approach based on calibration bands. Calibration bands denote a set of lower and upper bounds such that the probability that the true means lie simultaneously inside those bounds exceeds some given confidence level. Such bands were constructed by Yang-Barber (2019) for sub-Gaussian distributions. Dimitriadis et al. (2023) then introduced narrower bands for the Bernoulli distribution. We use the same idea in order to extend the construction to the entire exponential dispersion family that contains for example the binomial, Poisson, negative binomial, gamma and normal distributions. Moreover, we show that the obtained calibration bands allow us to construct various tests for calibration. As the construction of the bands does not rely on asymptotic results, we emphasize that our tests can be used for any sample size.

Streszczenie: I will start by recalling some known concentration estimates and limit theorems for Poisson point processes with focus on U-statistics. Next I will discuss moment and tail inequalities for multiple stochastic integrals (of deterministic functions), compare them with analogous inequalities on the Gauss space (due to Latała) and classical U-statistics and show how they can be used to derive the law of the iterated logarithm when the intensity of the process tends to infinity. I will also discuss similarities and differences with the law of the iterated logarithm for classical U-statistics. Finally, I will illustrate these results with specific examples from stochastic geometry and stochastic processes. I will conclude with some open problems. Title: Stochastic Navier-Stokes-Cahn-Hilliard system with transport noise.
Abstract: In this talk, we investigate the weak solvability of an initial-boundary value problem known as the Navier-Stokes-Cahn-Hilliard system, which describes the dynamics of a homogeneous, incompressible and isothermal mixture of two immiscible Newtonian fluids flowing in a bounded 2D or 3D domain under stochastic perturbations. Under suitable abstract assumptions, we prove the existence of a global weak martingale solution as well as the pathwise uniqueness of a global strong solution in two dimensions. The approach that we introduce is novel compared to existing existence results in the literature, as we combine techniques from both Brzeźniak and Motyl and Mikulevicius and Rozovskii to overcome the non-linear coupled drift and stochastic gradient terms.

Tytuł: Stochastic quantization and ergodicity of the \Phi^4 model
Euclidean quantum field theories can be viewed as probability measures on spaces of field configurations. Stochastic quantization provides a dynamical approach to such theories: one constructs a stochastic evolution whose equilibrium distribution is the measure of interest. I will begin by introducing this idea using the \Phi^4 model as a basic example. Its stochastic quantization leads to a nonlinear stochastic heat equation driven by spacetime white noise. In dimensions two and higher, the noise is so irregular that solutions are distributions rather than ordinary functions, so the cubic nonlinearity is not directly well defined. In dimensions two and three, however, the equation can be given a rigorous meaning after a suitable renormalization, for instance using the theory of regularity structures. On a compact domain, the resulting dynamics has a unique equilibrium and solutions converge to it as time tends to infinity. The situation in infinite volume is considerably more delicate. In particular, uniqueness cannot hold for all parameter values, since at low temperature the corresponding field theory exhibits phase coexistence. I will discuss a result showing that, in dimensions two and three, when the mass is sufficiently large or the coupling constant sufficiently small, all solutions in infinite volume converge exponentially fast to a unique stationary solution, with estimates uniform over the initial condition. As a consequence, the corresponding infinite-volume \Phi^4 measure is unique and its spatial correlations decay exponentially with distance.
