Poland is part of the Schengen Area. Citizens of the European Union and many other countries do not require a visa to enter Poland. However, we recommend consulting the following webpages for detailed and up-to-date information: Entering Poland, Visa-free countries. We recommend first traveling to Poznań, a large city in western Poland, located about 35 km from the Conference Center in Będlewo. If you need any assistance, please feel free to contact the organizers at drs2@impan.pl.
By plane:
Poznań–Ławica Airport offers a good number of direct international connections. A map of flights to and from Poznań–Ławica Airport is available online. You may also use services such as Skyscanner to find suitable flights.
By train:
Polish Railways (PKP) offers frequent and relatively fast connections from major cities such as Warsaw, Wrocław, and Berlin. Train timetables can be found on the PKP website.
By taxi:
A taxi from Poznań–Ławica Airport or Poznań Main Railway Station is the most convenient option. The distance to Będlewo is approximately 35 km, and the estimated taxi cost is 30–40 EUR.
The organizers will assist in arranging shared taxis (typically for 3–4 people) or a small bus for larger groups. If you would like us to organize transportation from the airport or train station, please send your arrival details to drs2@impan.pl.
All conference participants will be accommodated at the Mathematical Research and Conference Center in Będlewo from May 17 to May 23. The Center is surrounded by a large park, which provides an excellent setting for walks and informal discussions.
