About our recruiting process:

As a candidate, we understand that you have a variety of options for employment and want to make the right decision.

We are very thoughtful about our recruiting process and while it can be slow at times, we are ensuring that both parties are making the best choice. Below is an outline of our process with relative context to support each step:

  1. Phone screen with our recruiter

    • This is where the candidate is introduced to IPG as a company and the role

    • If a candidate is a fit, our recruiter will move you forward to an interview with the direct manager

    • If a candidate is not a fit, our recruiter will let you know

  2. Interview with the direct manager

    • This will be your opportunity to showcase your personality and skillset, as well as ask questions

    • After this interview is completed, our recruiter will let you know if you have been selected to advance to the next step in the process

  3. If you are advanced to the next stage in the recruiting process, we ask candidates to complete a few items before their next interview:

    • Skills test— a short answer scenario-based test to showcase previous experience and knowledge

    • iMAP—a multidimensional collaboration and motivated role assessment that we use as part of our High Performance Teaming client advisory and internal team development efforts

  4. Congrats, you made it to the team interview (the final interview)

    • Presentation— a short presentation to be shared with the final interview panel. This presentation will discuss any topic related to previous relevant experience or a topic pulled from the Skills test

    • You will meet additional team members during this meeting, present your presentation, and have an open conversation with all on the call

We are a small team so while the steps noted seem full steam ahead, we do put a ton of thought and consideration into every individual that comes across our desks. This process may elongate the time from the initial phone screen to all interviews in our process. Google shares a very similar approach in their recruiting process that will further illustrate the IPG process.
