Welcome to Buckman SUN! Our SUN Community School (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) program supports the Buckman community by offering educationally enriching after-school classes; community gatherings; culturally affirming engagement events; life skills classes for caregivers; and social support coordination for students and families. Buckman's SUN program is a collaboration of Multnomah County Department of County Human Services, Impact Northwest, and Portland Public Schools.

Updates and Reminders:
SUN will adopt a new schedule to accommodate for the PPS earlier release times. SUN will run Monday-Thursday from 2:30-5pm, and Friday 2:30-4pm.
Please see our support opportunities page! We are especially looking for help with family night event coordination, and a basketball coach for 24-25 school year!
