INDUCTION GUIDELINES:
The Chairperson calls the new inductee.
All dignitaries/any senior Circler who will perform the induction are then invited. (The
Chairperson herself can perform the induction).
INDUCTION CEREMONY
The Extension Convener of Circle (if any) and proposer are also invited.
Chairperson requests everyone in the hall to rise.
The Chairperson then requests the Extension Convener /Proposer Circler of the
prospective to introduce her.
The Chairperson/whoever inducts the prospective should say the Induction lines
given below.
Following which the new inductee should read the Oath of the New Member
given below.
The plaque is handed over to the new inductee by the Circler who inducts. Pins, directory
and flags are handed over one by one to the new inductee by all the members invited for it.
A Toast is then raised to the newly inducted Circler after the oath by the person who
inducts her.

Our Motto is “Friendship and Service” and we trust that through the service you give to the Circle you will gain and extend the friendship, which exists between the members.
Your acceptance of membership implies that you will carry into your public and private life the Aims and Objects for which this movement stands.
Your membership will involve you in an obligation to make regular attendance at our meetings and to support in every way possible the various activities of the Circle.”
OATH OF A NEW MEMBER
(Read by prospective Circler)

Through the motto of “Friendship & Service” I hope to offer to the Circle service to the best of my ability and through it gain and extend friendship.
I will at all times keep in mind the Circle prayer and give thanks for the gift of “Friendship” and the privilege of “Service”.
I will always be mindful of the Aims and Objects of this movement and uphold the ideals for which it stands for.
I accept this membership with the obligation of attending meetings regularly and supporting in every way possible the various activities of the Circle.”
