Welcome to the ICS Summer Scholars Program
Over the summer, we encourage students to continue developing their math and reading skills to retain what they’ve learned during the school year and come prepared for new challenges in the fall. Summer is a valuable time to nurture a love of reading, strengthen foundational skills, and explore math in real-world contexts.
Below is an overview of our Summer Scholars Program by division. Don’t forget to visit the “Go, See, Do” and “Top 10 Resources” tabs at the top of the page for additional ideas, activities, and enrichment opportunities.
We’d love to see how our Eagles are learning, exploring, and growing this summer! Whether your child is reading on the beach, solving math problems on a road trip, or visiting a cool museum—snap a photo and share it with us.
Submit your photos to communications@icdurham.org or tag us on Instagram @immaculatacatholicschool with the hashtag #ICSSummerScholar.
We'll feature highlights throughout the summer and when we return to campus in August!
