About the Teacher

Hi! My name Erica Dees and I am so thrilled to be your 1st grade teacher this year.  We are going to enjoy a year full of fun, adventure and learning.  I can't wait to hear everything about my students, but here's a little something about me. 

 I have a loving husband and two beautiful children, Leighton (10) and Ryker (5).  My children will be attending Immacolata this year too, and I know they will be learning along with you and making lots of new friends.  Our family enjoys going camping, boating and swimming.  My son Ryker has really been working on his swimming skills this summer & playing ball.  My daughter Leighton loves gymnastics and swimming. Our family has two pets, Maya (German Shepard and Huskey mixed) Jackson (cat).

I taught Pre-K for many years and 5 of those were within the Archdiocese.  I obtained my degree in early childhood education through the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I have enjoyed my many years of teaching PreK. I am looking forward to a new chapter in my teaching career as a first-grade teacher.
