About Me

I am a mathematician and professor at the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) in Lima, Peru. I completed my undergraduate studies in Mathematics at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) in 2011 and received my PhD in Mathematics from IMCA–UNI in 2019. I have been a faculty member at UNI since 2018, where I am involved in both teaching and research.

My main research interests lie in Topological Dynamics and Dynamical Systems, particularly in expansivity and its generalizations, shadowing properties, topological stability, measurable dynamics, and other mathematical aspects of chaotic behavior. I especially enjoy research problems that reveal connections between different notions of dynamical complexity and lead to new ways of understanding the long-term behavior of dynamical systems.

Teaching is also an important part of my academic life. I enjoy introducing students to mathematical ideas, encouraging rigorous reasoning, and helping them develop the intuition needed to approach abstract problems.

Outside mathematics, one of my great interests is gastronomy. I particularly enjoy discovering different culinary traditions, exploring new restaurants and flavors, and experiencing the connection between food, culture, and place. For me, traveling is also an opportunity to discover a region through its cuisine.
