ZOOM INTO MY PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
During the Professional Practice, my host institution was IMAR-UAc (the Institute of Marine Research unit of the University of Azores), which is currently located at the Department of Oceanography and Fisheries at Horta, Faial. The title of my Professional Practice was "Life history parameters as possible discriminators of marine populations in Azorean waters". It was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Régis Santos within project "PESCAz - Sustainable Fisheries in the Azores"

Apart from the academical knowledge and skills acquired during the PP, there is way more to say:
Field + Lab + Office = what a combo!
Be curious, join meetings, and share lunch with the other researchers
Be flexible, projects depend on many external factors (including good sea condition)
Having a proper action camera may help...if you want decent quality photos/videos
