She evaluates the changes in the interaction networks due to light pollution and carries out manipulative experiments to disentangle some of the mechanisms involved in the influence of light pollution on nocturnal pollination. He tested whether effectiveness and realized male and female accuracy and precision differ between two hummingbird pollinator species (Heliomaster furcifer and Sappho sparganura) that pollinate the ornithophilous liana Dolichandra cynanchoides.
