Description:

The Research Group of Algebra of the Mathematical Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro brought together all of the researchers with interest in algebra from all of the departments of the institute. It is acting in several fields of research consisting of  Arithmetic Geometry,  Algebraic Geometry,  Algebraic Foliations, Commutative Algebra, Computational Algebra, Group Theory, Finite Fields, and Number Theory.
