Students are learning how to talk about different countries and share their travel preferences in Chinese. They practice asking where others want to go, discussing places they've visited, and explaining why they'd like to visit certain countries.
Key Skills:
Naming countries: 国家, 中国, 美国, 墨西哥, 西班牙, 加拿大, 英国, 法国, 韩国
Expressing travel desires: 想, 想去
Asking and answering about travel preferences: 你想去什么国家？ 我想去中国。
Discussing past travel experiences: 你去过 [country] 吗？ 我去过 [country]。
Sharing reasons for wanting to visit: 我想去 [country] 因为……

Topic: Making Appointments & Phone Conversations
Students are learning how to have complete phone conversations in Chinese — from answering the phone to scheduling appointments with teachers and friends.
Key Skills:
-Answering the phone using 喂 (wéi) — the Chinese way to say "hello" on the phone
-Identifying callers politely: 您是哪位？ (Who is this?)
-Asking for availability: 您明天有空儿吗？ (Do you have time tomorrow?)
-Scheduling and declining appointments politely
