What to bring to the Field Day?

  • Comfortable closed shoes

  • Water bottle

  • Compost sample to look at under the microscope!

    • We may not be able get to everyone's sample but rather will pick a few that will give folks an idea of a good variety of samples

    • How to prep your sample: Gather approximately 1/4 cup of material in a sealed container or plastic bag. Label your sample with the date collected, description of the maturity/stage of compost, as well as the type of compost system. Collect your sample as close to the time of analysis as possible.
