For meaningful learning of mathematics, tools and technology must be indispensable features of the classroom. Tools and technology such as manipulatives, interactive whiteboards and a wide range of handheld, tablet, laptop, and desktop based devices can be used to help students make sense of mathematics, engage in mathematical reasoning, and communicate mathematically.”

A. Determine which required materials will be ordered and which will be printed locally (e.g., student task statements, cool-downs, teacher guides, lesson activity materials, center materials).

B. If printing locally, identify due dates for requesting materials.

C. Ensure all teachers have digital access to the IM Math OER platform or digital access through an IM Certified partner.

A. Based on your plan for accessing materials, get a quote for required materials, print materials, and digital access.
B. If needed, get board approval.
C. Place the order early enough to ensure materials arrive in time to distribute to teachers before the school year starts.
