• A few of you have students who have dual enrollment AND have SE services in both districts. The caseload report is being adjusted to allow for this situation of dual enrollment and SE services in both.

• Early On Error Report Transition warning will no longer show students under 2.3 years of age.

• The fix for the OPEN REED Report within the REED Widget where it was not always showing Initial REEDs for all users has been fixed.

• A bug was found within the Caseload Report where the Sec (52 or 53) and the FTE were not displaying for all students if the report was pulled by a provider.

• The Medicaid Consent will no longer print if the Consent is NO and the date entered is still active.

• The OPEN REEDs Report within the REED Widget will no longer create a second row IF the Initial/Most Recent IEP Date is edited on the Important Dates Page.

• The OPEN REEDs Report now has two new columns to provide the type/purpose of the open REED (REED Type) and the Initial or Reevaluation Must be Completed before Due Date.

  • If the Initial or Reevaluation Must be Completed before Due Date is empty then no dates have been entered in the Key Data page of the Open REED.

  • The Initial or Reevaluation Must be Completed before Due Date Field for Initials get populated from the Key Data Page within the Open REED.

  • NOTE: The system will look for a date within the 2nd Evaluation Extension Date Field. If this is empty then the system will look for a date within the 1st Evaluation Extension Date Field. If both are empty then the system will look for a date within the Original 30 Day Target Date (or re-eval IEP due date).

• The Dissenting report question on the Follow Up Details Page for Eligible IEPs is back.

• This release fixed a bug within the "Other User" role within the REED Knowledgeable Section for names with an apostrophe where the name could not be removed.

05.26.22

• We have updated the wording within ESY to reflect MARSE for any new IEPs and Amendments moving forward. It will now show and state on the PDF Nature or Severity (instead of Nature of Severity) and Critical Stage or Area of Learning (instead of Critical Stage of Area of Learning).

• The Non Public Service Plan Follow Up Details Page Field language has been updated to reflect that it is a Provision of Services instead of FAPE.

• Additional District/Parent(s)/Guardian(s) Determination Agreement Section. This ensures that the team has documented this required piece of the MDR process. To see this in action click on this giphy

• The SOP Widget is NOW showing AS REQUIRED for ONLY those students who have an expected leave date during the current school year AND EITHER 1. Are graduating with a regular high school diploma OR 2. Are aging out

• The SOP Widget is NOW ALSO showing as NOT REQUIRED (NO) for ONLY those students who have an expected leave date during the current school year AND are not aging out NOR graduating with a regular high school diploma.

03.31.22 If a student if found ineligible by the IEP Team there is now the ability to denote if there is a dissenting report. If YES is marked in response to the "Is there a dissenting report", this will be displayed on the PDF.

03.24.22 The Permission to Place Notice now includes Public School Academy as an option within the Operating District section. NOTE: This is only for new Permission to Places moving forward.

03.15.22 The MET Date was not pushing to Important Dates upon the closing/publishing of the REED. This has been corrected and now the MET Date will push for any REEDs closed/finalized/published moving forward.

02.24.22 The Agency Rep Not Invited Section within the Transition Plan Invitation Information Page of the IEP will be updated soon AND NO LONGER BE A TEXT AREA if an Outside Agency Rep was NOT INVITED. Instead, it will show the two MDE acceptable reasons with an option of selecting Other.

The changes to Alternate Assessments for State Assessments for Science Grades 4, 5, 7 and 8:

4th Grade: No more science alternate assessment (NO science at all)

5th Grade: Addition of alternate science assessment options of Functional, Participation and Supported Independence

7th Grade: No more science alternate assessment (NO science at all)

8th Grade: Addition of alternate science assessment options of Functional, Participation and Supported Independence

What does this mean for you?

*If you have an open IEP go to the State Assessment Page and: 1) Delete the State Assessment option on the State Assessment Page and 2) Add it back again which will allow you to see updated alternate assessment options.

*If the IEP was already published

1. Complete an amendment with the Amendment Purpose of:

NOTE: You may also need to select the purpose around Supplemental Aids/Services if applicable.

2. Delete the State Assessment option within the IEP Amendment on the State Assessment Page.

3. Add the State Assessment back again which will allow you to see updated alternate assessment options.
