Elections are held at the March general body meeting during the Spring Semester. Officers hold their term from the beginning of each academic school year in August until the end of the school year in May. Candidates running for election must have a majority voting for the position (2/3 of present voting members) and no member can hold more than one position during the same term. After elections, March through May will be a transition period with the current and new officers to provide a smooth transition. Current officers will still hold their position until May with new officers starting their position in the Fall of the following semester.
