Meta, the company behind the Quest II VR headset, already has excellent explanations and training materials for the basic use of the system, so we will make use of their site, which is constantly updated! That site may be found here:
https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/getting-started/getting-started-with-quest-2/
The site includes sections on initial setup, connecting to Wi-Fi, adjusting fit and feel, and first steps in VR. The initial setup of headset should already be complete before they are passed off to teachers, and they should (we hope!) already be connected to Wi-Fi as well.
Scroll down just a bit on the page to find very good written instructions on adjusting the fit and feel of the headset (this is critical for a good user experience) and first steps in VR (another critical step that cannot be skipped so that the users are familiar and comfortable with using the controllers to interact with environments and also setting up either a roomscale (not recommended for students) or stationary guardian (very recommended). The two videos embedded below also quick quick overviews of these elements.
The Quest II headsets come loaded with an excellent app called First Steps (see promo video below). The app, and the associated website pages also linked below, include information on setting up a Guardian, how to use the controllers, and accessing the universal menu and apps.

The universal menu lets you access features and launch your favorite apps no matter where you are in VR. You can access the universal menu at any time by pressing the Oculus Icon on your right Touch controller.
The universal menu contains shortcuts to some of the most heavily used VR features and settings:
App Library: View and launch apps from your library.
Sharing: Cast, take photos, and record video in VR.
People: Send messages, find and add friends, and create a party.
Store: Find new apps and experiences in the Store.
Explore: Browse your home screen for suggested apps and entertainment.
Profile: Select your profile image to access your profile.
Notifications: View notifications from apps, Messenger, and more.
Quick Settings: Check the current time, the charge level of your headset, and the strength of your Wi-Fi connection. Select the Quick Settings panel to view your device settings.
