• Description: The Champaign County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD) provides, coordinates, and monitors services and supports for eligible individuals and their families that promote a pathway to individual success.

3. Illinois youth and college vocational training

• Location: Champaign, Illinois

• Description: Students can choose to attend a vocational school, four year college, or community college. Students will receive a monthly payment.

4. Champaign County Regional Planning Commission 

• Location: Champaign, Illinois

• Description: Provides programming in areas of regional, environmental, and transportation planning; economic, community, and workforce development; social services; early childhood education; and technical assistance.

5. Champaign Urbana Special Education District (CUSED)

• Location: Urbana, Illinois

• Description: Offers support for students with disabilities, including transition services to help with the move from high school to postsecondary education or training.

6. Rural Champaign County Special Education Cooperative

• Location: Champaign,Illinois

• Description: Helps around 5,000 students. Helps assist students with collegiate, business, social, and cultural pursuits

7. Division of Rehabilitation Services

• Location: Champaign, Illinois

• Description:  Will provide a financial contribution toward your education for the equivalent of no more than three academic years to obtain an Associate’s degree or Junior standing and up to three additional academic years to complete a Bachelor’s degree.

8. Illini Mentor Program

• Location: Champaign,Illinois

• Description: Mentor program that meets once a week for 2 hours for students to meet other students their same age as well as older more experienced mentors to help their abilities with building positive relationships. This program emphasizes academic support, and enrichment activities to help the children build developmental assets that will help them in the future. The goal of supporting learning, growth, skill-building, and interracial and cultural understanding. As a co-curricular service-learning organization.

9. Vocational Rehab Services 

• Location: Champaign, illinois

• Description: Provides support in career planning, job search, and training opportunities tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities. The offer specialized VR services for visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, and Hispanic/Latino’s with disabilities.

10. Parkland Disability Services

• Location: Champaign, illinois

• Description: Accessibility Services works in partnership with the college community to facilitate equal access for students with disabilities to the educational programs, services, and activities of Parkland College in accordance with federal law.
