Whilst the International Baccalaureate Diploma is widely recognized worldwide, university systems in different parts of the world have specific entry requirements which can vary from country to country. International recognition of the IBDP is outlined on the IB website. The counselor work with students in Grades 10, 11 and 12 to identify career pathways and university choices. Students and parents need to check the website for the country and university IB recognition policies for individual countries at IB Country recognition statements.
ILG uses BridgeU to streamline university choices, take career tests, university matching, and plan individual goals. The university counselor keeps students and parents informed about university fairs on campus and other relevant events. Regularly throughout the year, the counselor holds meetings with Grade 11 and 12 students and parents about university applications. Students and parents are encouraged to be proactive in searching for courses and universities to make the right choices about their future studies.
Currently, ILG School is an official SAT Center, UCAS Centre and College Board-accredited, making applications more streamlined for our students. Current ILG students may request an official copy of the ILG transcript or past school semester reports through the admin office. Grade 12 students applying to universities are provided with five transcripts free of charge. Please contact the DPC before 30 May.
