Update Your Profile in Our Parish Online Directory
How to sign up for a new My Own Church account
All users, including church members, administrators, and church staff, must have an account to access the ParishSOFT Family Suite website. Users who do not have an account must sign up for an account to receive login credentials (username and password).
Creating a user account is a one-time process. This process requires the submission of personal details to verify your identity. It takes just a few minutes to complete:
In your web browser, enter https://chicago.parishsoftfamilysuite.com/
The ParishSOFT Welcome screen is displayed:
Click the New User? link to display the New User Registration Form.
Complete Steps 1 - 3 on the form. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk: *.
For organization, select St. Veronica, Flossmoor
Click Submit Registration.
The application attempts to verify your personal information.
If the application can verify all of the information in your registration request, it displays a confirmation message to inform you that your registration was successful.
The application also sends an email containing your login credentials (username and a temporary password) to the email address you provided in your registration.
After you receive the email, log in to your account. Check your Spam or Junk E-mail folder if the email does not arrive within a few minutes after you submit your request. For login instructions, go to the next section, How to log in to My Own Church.
If the application cannot verify all of the information in your registration request, it displays an acknowledgment message to notify you that your registration was received. Your registration request is put on hold until an administrator can personally review it.
Review time varies, but the process is typically completed within three days. Upon approval, you will receive an email containing your login credentials (username and a temporary password).
Check your Spam or Junk E-mail folder if the email does not arrive within that time frame.
After you receive the email, log in to your account.
If the application cannot verify any of the information in your registration request, it displays a message to inform you that the registration was not successful. The message provides one or more options to help resolve the problem. Choose the option that best fits your particular circumstance.

How to log in to My Own Church
If you do not yet have a My Own Church account, see the section above, "How to sign up for a new My Own Church account."
In your web browser, enter the URL (Web Address) for ParishSOFT https://chicago.parishsoftfamilysuite.com
The ParishSOFT Welcome page is displayed:
Choose from the following options:
If you are a new user, you must create a new account. Go to How to sign up for a new account for instructions.
If you have a username and password, type them in the Username and Password fields. Then, click the Log In button.
If you cannot remember your credentials, click the Lost password? link. Look in your Spam folder if you do not get an email.
If you have a login but do not have the ParishSOFT Access permission enabled, ask your administrator to update your user privileges to give you ParishSOFT access.
If you are prompted to change a temporary password, keep the following in mind: your password is case sensitive and must contain at least six characters, two of which must be numbers.
After you log in, your Home Page is displayed.
Click any button to go to a page in My Own Church and begin working or any tab to open a new module (for example, Home → Giving History).
You may now navigate the tabs in My Own Church simply by clicking on them. For example, clicking on Giving History will present you with your family's giving history.
How to edit my family record
Sometimes there is information in your Personal Family and Member Record that needs to be updated. You can do this yourself in My Own Church.
Log in to My Own Church.
Once you log in, you will be brought to the Home page for My Own Church.
Click either My Family from the Quick Links, or the My Family tab at the top of the page.
On the My Family page, click Family Detail.
If you are editing Family Details (Info for the Entire Family), then click Edit Details and make your changes. To Add or Change a family photo, click on Add or Change under the photo or placeholder. You will be given the opportunity to Browse for a photo to upload. **Note: Photos, as with all changes made to Family information, are subject to review by the Parish Administrator before being approved.**
When you click the Edit Details button and make changes, a new panel of buttons is displayed at the bottom of the page. Once you are done making changes, click Save.
If you must edit your individual Member details click the Member Details tab and then click the tab for your name. In this example, the individual's name is Parishsoft.
Click Edit Details.
Make any changes you need to the Member Tab, and then click Save, or Save & Close unless you have other member records to update.
Once you are finished click Close.
