The competition (QASAS MINAL QURAN) is to show that The Quran is full of wisdom. It is full of the wonder and glory of God, and a testament to His mercy and justice. This competition mainly shows that the Quran is God's greatest gift to humanity – it is a book like no other, and surely all the stories cannot be changed and must be ORIGINALLY sent to all generations without any additions.

Participants for the intervarsity level will prepare a 5-minute video on a true story found in Al-Quran. Then the stories must be recited without adding or changing the true meaning of the verses. In addition, participants can design the video with illustration and most attractive presentation.

Must be based on the true story found in Al-Quran.
Design with illustration and most attractive presentation.
The language for the video is opened to all languages (Bahasa Melayu/English/ Arabic).
Can positively motivate the audience.
The DEADLINE for submission is at 5pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

There is no entry fee.
Participation is opened to teams (not more than three members).
Participants in group are required to select a team leader, who is responsible for the registration and entry submission.
Video must be presented in any of these 3 languages (English/Arabic/Bahasa Melayu).
The length of the video should not exceed 5 minutes.
Video must not include any sensitive issues, racist or defamatory content.
Dress decently and speak respectfully in your videos.
The content of the submitted work must include: SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs) component – SDG 3, 4 or 11 OR Values: Family Relationship/ Ethics in Social Media.
Plagiarism or copied work from websites or some videos which you have submitted previously will be disqualified.
Visual aids: such as slides, poster, a unique background, sound/music which are relevant and strongly support the video are encouraged.
Please record your video in horizontal (landscape) mode if you use your phone.
For video submission, kindly upload the video on YouTube (can be accessed by the public) and copy the YouTube Link/URL in the entry form.
Entry forms must be completed with correct personal particulars AND attachment of a copy of students’ matric card.
Completed video entries must be submitted through the entry forms via website..
The DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION is at 5pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
The judges’ decision is final and will be based on the judging rubric.
The competition winners will be announced during the Final Showcase.
All winners will receive cash prizes, digital certificates and STAR points (IIUM students only).
Entrants agree to be bound by the official contest rules and decisions of the judges.
Entrants also grant the organiser the right to use, reproduce or display the videos for promotional purposes without further compensation or notification to the entrants.
