ABOUT THE COMPETITION

I Welcome

CELPAD, IIUM would like to warmly welcome you to the Sejahtera-Intervarsity Proficiency Competition (IVPC) 1.0. which is soon to be our yearly programme. This year, the programme with the theme 'Unity in Diverse Proficiencies' will be held virtually from 20^th April 2022 until 14^th July 2022. So, participants can take part from every nook and corner of the countries.

For this year event, a video competition is opened for those who are eligible. There are 5 types of short video competitions which students can be involved in; which represent the 5 divisions in CELPAD: English Language, Quranic Language, Bahasa Melayu, Tilawah and Mandarin.

I Objectives

To make students realize the importance of English/Arabic/Malay and mandarin languages.
To create an English/Arabic/BM and Mandarin languages Arabic language environment.
To make learning English/Arabic/BM and Mandarin languages interesting.
To promote creative thinking and team work by using these languages.
To motivate the students who are lack of self- confidence in using these languages
To provide students the platform to utilize the reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
To expose the importance of SDGs in the university.
To inculcate good values among the students.
