A Short Mandarin Video Challenge with the theme Promoting University: “My University is the best Choice” is open to all students who are taking Mandarin Language Courses in public universities in Malaysia.

以推广大学为主题的华语短视频挑战赛：“我的大学是最好的选择” 向所有在马来西亚公立大学学习华语课程的学生开放。

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES | 具体的目标

This competition aims to encourage students to use Mandarin Language in promoting their universities to the community; to expose the importance of SDGs in the university; and to instill good values among the students.

本次比赛旨在鼓励学生使用华语向社区宣传他们的大学；揭示可持续性发展目标在大学中的重要性；并向学生灌输良好的价值观等。

Each entry must focus on only ONE of the following topics which align with the core theme:

RULES AND GUIDELINES OF VIDEO SUBMISSION

视频提交的规则和指南

  1. There is no entry fee.

  1. Participation is opened to teams (not more than three).

  1. Participants in group shall be required to select a team leader, who is responsible for the registration and entry submission.

  1. Video must be presented in Mandarin language.

  1. The length of the video should not exceed 5 minutes.

  1. Video must not include any sensitive issues, racist or defamatory content.

  1. The content of the submitted work must include: SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs) component – SDG 3, 4, 11 OR Values/ Family Relationship/ Ethics in Social Media.

  2. Please record your video in horizontal (landscape) mode if you use your phone.

  3. For video submission, copy the YouTube URL (Public) and paste it into the entry form.

  4. Entry forms must be completed with correct personal particulars AND attachment of a copy of students’ matric card.

  5. Completed video entries must be submitted through the entry form via website.

  6. The deadline for submission is at 5pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

  7. The judges’ decision is final and will be based on the judging rubric.

  8. The competition winners will be announced during the Final Showcase.

  9. All winners will receive cash prizes, digital certificates and STAR points (IIUM students only).

  1. 参赛视频没有入场费。

  2. 参赛队伍开放（不超过三个)。

  3. 组内参赛者需选择领队，负责报名及参赛作品的提交。

  4. 视频必须以华语呈现。

  5. 视频时长不超过5分钟。

  6. 视频不得包含任何敏感问题、种族主义或诽谤内容。

  7. 提交作品的内容必须包括：可持续性发展目标 (SDGs) 部分 - SDG 3、4 、11 或价值观 / 家庭关系 /社交媒体中的道德。

  8. 如果你使用手机，请以横向（景观）模式录制视频。

  9. 对于视频提交，复制 YouTube URL（公共）并将其粘贴到参赛表格中。

  10. 参赛表格必须填写正确的个人资料并附上学生身份证复印件。

  11. 完成的视频作品必须通过网站的参赛表格提交。

  12. 提交截止日期为 2022 年 6 月 18 日，星期六下午5點.。

  13. 评委的决定为最终决定，以评判标准为准。

  14. 比赛获胜者将在决赛展示期间公布。

  15. 所有获奖者将获得现金奖励、数码证书，以及星级积分（仅限马来西亚国际伊斯兰大学的学生)。

TASK | 任务

  1. Participants need to produce a creative short Mandarin language video (5 minutes) based on ONE of the topics.

  2. Each participating university must choose a maximum of only 3 video entries to be submitted for the intervarsity competition.

  3. For submission, all entrants must upload the videos on YouTube (public) and copy the YouTube URL/link into the entry forms

  4. Completed video entries must be submitted through the entry forms (via website) starting from June 6, 2022.

  5. The deadline for submission is at 5pm on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Any late submission will not be entertained.

  1. 参赛者需要制作一个有创意的华语短片（5分钟），选择其中一个题目。

  2. 每所参赛大学最多只能选择3个视频作品，提交作为跨大学的比赛。

  3. 提交时，所有参赛者必须将视频上传到 YouTube（公共）和 将 YouTube 网址/链接复制到参赛表格中。

  4. 完成的视频作品必须通过参赛表格提交（通过 网站）从 2022 年 6 月 6 日开始。

  5. 投稿截止日期為2022年6月18日（星期六）下午5點。任何迟到 的提交，概不受理。
