About IIT Tirupati

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Tirupati is the first among the 3rd Generation IITs to have its foundation stone laid in 2015. IIT Tirupati is rapidly progressing in establishing a great academic and research ambiance with highly qualified faculty working on state-of-the-art innovative and interdisciplinary research with key focus on socially relevant problems. There is a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary academics, creative teaching and academic excellence, with a friendly environment between the faculty and students. Thrust areas of IIT Tirupati such as Smart Infrastructure, Precision Agriculture, Education Technologies are framed with a targeted vision on focusing strong interdisciplinary research.

About University of Agder

The University of Agder (UiA) is situated on the southern tip of Norway and is located on two campuses, in Kristiansand and Grimstad. The university has over 13 000 students and 1440 academic and administrative staff members. It is one of the youngest universities in Norway, but its history dates back to 1839. UiA seeks to be an open and inclusive university that is characterised by a culture of collaboration. Knowledge is successfully co-created when staff, students and the larger community challenge each other. The University of Agder is a government-owned university, headed by an elected Rector and an appointed University Director. It has six faculties and one teacher unit governed as a whole by the University Board, which consists of a majority of members elected by faculty, staff and students and a minority of external members appointed by the Ministry of Education and Research.

Leveraging the current developments in automation, backed up by the recent evolution of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning innovations, IIT Tirupati faculty are coherently involved in developing strong roots for the future on socially relevant problems. Electrical Engineering Department of IIT Tirupati has a strong group of faculty working in signal processing, image processing, medical Imaging, computer vision, wireless communications, signal processing techniques for Communication, advanced communication techniques for future wireless networks such as 5G and internet of things, distributed optimization, artificial intelligence, machine Learning, deep learning, robotics, control systems, cloud and fog computing, and driving towards industrial automation leading to development of Industry 4.0 platforms.
