Workshop on Mathematics Tools in Wireless Communication and Networks
Organised by the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Ropar under the Advance Knowledge in Nutshell (AKIN) program
About The Course
The goal of this workshop is to unveil the latest wireless technology developments, from the physical layer all the way to the application layer in wireless communication and networks with a focus on bridging the gaps between theory, algorithms, and practical system implementations. The workshop will bring together academic and industrial researchers to identify and discuss technical challenges and recent results related to wireless communication, next generation wireless networks, 5G, MIMO, etc. We present this workshop as a unique opportunity for all students and researchers working in the field of wireless Communications and Networks domain to come together and understand the various mathematical tools and their application to various problems to enhance their research outputs.
The objective of this workshop is to provide a platform for the latest results in the field of communication and networking for wireless communication, encourage fruitful discussions on the challenges and prospect of this new research field, open new perspectives and inspire innovation. This workshop will provide them a solid platform to share their research initiatives as well as seek guidance from reputed researchers in this domain.
This course will also cover the following sessions:
- An Introduction to Research in Wireless Communications and Networks
