Knowledge is a vast ocean, and learning is a lifelong journey. With this belief in the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom through continuous learning, I, Varinder Kaur, have enrolled in Ph.D.(2023) as a research scholar in the field of management at the Department of Humanities and Social Science at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. I am pursuing my research under the expert guidance of Dr. Ravi Kumar .
With 16 years of experience, I have been working in the Office of the Registrar General of India & Census Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Currently, I hold the position of Research Officer (Map) and am in charge of Mapping Operations for five northern Indian states: Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, U.T. Chandigarh, U.T. Jammu & Kashmir, and U.T. Ladakh.
My research interests lie in the areas of healthcare management, inclusive development, the application of geospatial technologies, and public policy. My vision is to provide productive outcomes for my organization, various stakeholders including state governments, academia, private institutions, policymakers, and ultimately, the society we live in.
