I am Sherin Thomas, currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics and VLSI under the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, India. I completed my master's in Electronics and Communication at Pondicherry University (A Central University) in Puducherry, India.
My research focuses on brain-inspired circuit design using CMOS technology, which primarily focuses on analyzing the effects of the crossbar on the performance of the 3D neuromorphic ICs. I am also a reviewer of IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems- 1, IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems for Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Trans. on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, Springer Nature, Scientific Reports, Electronics Letters, and ISCAS.
Beyond my academic endeavors, I enjoy singing and caring for dogs. I am enthusiastic about continuing my research career and eager to explore new research directions and collaborations.
Research Interests:
Neuromorphic VLSI Circuits
3D Interconnect Modeling
