Dr. Anindya Chatterjee is a mechanical engineer with an undergraduate degree from IIT Kharagpur, masters degrees in applied mechanics and applied mathematics from the University of Florida, a Ph.D. from Cornell University, and postdoc work at Penn State University. He spent a year, just out of college, working for Telco (now Tata Motors) in Jamshedpur. He joined the Indian Institute of Science in 2000, moved to IIT Kharagpur in 2009, and to IIT Kanpur in 2012.

Dr. Ramnath Babu has graduated from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli in mechanical engineering in the year 2009 and holds Ph.D. in biomechanics (2009-2014) from Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Presently, he is a co-founder of BendFlex and he is also a co-founder and director of SpOvum Technologies Private Limited. BendFlex is an IP-heavy startup that specializes in the design of bio-medical devices www.bendflex.in. SpOvum is a deep-tech startup building an unique combination of hardware-software technologies https://spovum.com.

Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Jha presently working as a senior scientist at Aeronautical Development establishment in the field unmanned air vehicle (UAV) Design and Development. He has done B.Tech from NIT Jamshedpur in mechanical engineering and Mtech from IIT MUMBAI in aerospace structure. He has worked in the field of Airframe design, control surface design and development, landing gear design and development, fuel tank design and developments and digital mockup generation for medium altitude long endurance (MALE) UAV. He has also worked as system engineer for imported and indigenous payloads. He has published more than 20 papers in different national, international conference, seminar and journals. He has been also awarded lab scientist award for the year 2016. He is member of aeronautical society of India as well as Indian Society for Advancement of Materials and Process.

Shri Prateek Kishore, Outstanding Scientist, has assumed charge as Director TBRL with effect from 01 December 2020. Shri Prateek Kishore obtained B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi in 1989 and M. Tech in Production Engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar in 2017. He is also an MBA with specialisation in Operations Management from Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad.

Dr. Dipak Maiti holds Ph.D. in Thermal Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and has industrial experience in Automotive Research and Development for the last 15 years. After a brief stint as Assistant Professor in BITS Pilani, he worked in Powertrain simulation and development as Engineering Manager in General Motors Technical Centre and Mercedes-Benz R&D.
