Welcome to ISSMD-2026

It is our pleasure to announce the “International Symposium on Semiconductor Materials and Devices-2026” to be held at IIT Ropar, India from 23rd October to 25th October 2026 jointly organized by Department of Physics, IIT Ropar and Semiconductor Society of India (SSI). The symposium is being organized to bring the various researchers working in the field of semiconducting materials and devices on a common platform. There will be discussions on the recent advances in the field. The participants can interact with the various experts of the field which will bring together the researchers from various fields. It will lead to exchange of ideas and help in developing new ones. The present Conference provides a platform to exchange knowledge about the latest scientific and industry results and to discuss the latest trends and developments in the area of semiconductor.
