 About Symposium

The Complex Fluid Dynamics Symposium (CFDS) provides a comprehensive platform for the dissemination and exchange of contemporary research on the intricate rheology and microstructures of non-Newtonian fluids. By engaging postgraduate students, and early-career researchers, the symposium aims to advance theoretical models, experimental techniques, and numerical simulations of complex fluid behavior across diverse scientific disciplines. This symposium acts as a catalyst for advancing understanding and manipulation of complex fluid dynamics by creating a scientific discourse forum. The field delves into the flow, deformation, and behavior of materials like colloidal suspensions, polymer solutions, and active fluids, distinct from the simple Newtonian fluid dynamics. CFDS highlights the latest advancements in theoretical models, experimental techniques, and numerical simulations pertinent to complex fluid dynamics through presentations and discussions. Engaging young researchers, it offers a vital platform for sharing research and encouraging diverse perspectives. This collaborative environment is pivotal for innovation, addressing challenges in understanding and manipulating complex fluids across scientific and engineering applications.
