Awards and Achievements

Received “Smt. Kamal Sharma Award for Academic Excellence” from the Lexicon Group of Institutions, Pune, Maharashtra, on 5th September 2023.

Received “Best Researcher Award” from the Novel Research Academy, Puducherry on 15th August 2022.

 Got selected for the prestigious Charles Wallace India Trust (CWIT) grant Award for the academic year 2018-19 under the Short-Term Visiting Fellowship to collect archival sources from the U.K.

 An article about my achievements in the famous Tamil magazine Thozhi, titled “Laṇṭaṉil nāṟpatu nāṭkaḷ” (Forty days in London), was published on 15th November 2018.

Awarded UGC NF-OBC (National Fellowship for Other Backward Class Students) JRF and SRF for from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India in the academic year 2014-2015.

Qualified for the lectureship UGC- SET conducted by Mother Teresa Women’s University, TN in 2016.

Secured Second place in the All-India Ph.D. Entrance Exam conducted by Pondicherry Central University, May 2014.

Received Gold Medal for securing First Rank in M. Phil. History at Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Post Graduate Studies, Puducherry. 

Received Gold Medal for securing First Rank in B.A. History at Bharathidasan Govt. College for Women, Puducherry.

Received Dr. Saroja Soundarajan Endowment Medal for the “Best Out-Going Student of the College” from Bharathidasan Government College for Women, Puducherry, for the academic year 2009- 2010.
