Pratibimb Photonics Labs
Pratibimb Photonics Labs, IIT Mandi works in cross-disciplinary areas as enabled by the technology of photonics. While the primary focus of the lab is in the experimental areas of nonlinear fiber optics and fiber lasers, the lab also works in the development of optical fiber sensors and real-time photonics-based measurement systems.
Recent news
27-29th September 2023 - Lab PI Dr. Srikanth Sugavanam and PhD student Md. Iqbal presented at the SCOP-PRL conference in PRL Ahmedabad. Dr. Sugavanam was an invited speaker at the conference.
25th June 2023 - Adity and Md. Iqbal presented a poster on the use of GPUs for parallel computation in photonics at Anusandhan 1.0, the annual student research conference at IIT Mandi.
M.Tech student Rupam Biswas secures a position with the Photonics division of Bharat Electronics Limited, Bangalore. Wishing him all the best!
