Please wear your workshop ID card visibly while inside academic and event areas.
Entry to restricted areas (labs, hostels, faculty residences) is not permitted without prior authorization.
Security personnel may request ID verification—your cooperation is appreciated.
IIT Mandi is a community built on mutual respect. We expect all participants to maintain decorum and treat faculty, staff, students, and fellow attendees with courtesy.
Disruptive behavior, including verbal abuse, loud or inappropriate conduct, and interference in academic or event sessions, is not allowed.
Any form of harassment—including but not limited to sexual, verbal, or physical misconduct—is strictly prohibited.
Discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, region, or language will not be tolerated.
Violations may lead to immediate expulsion from the workshop and possible legal consequences.
Consumption, possession, or distribution of alcohol, narcotics, or other intoxicants is strictly forbidden on campus.
Smoking is not permitted in academic buildings, guest houses, or public spaces.
Please respect the quiet hours of the campus, especially in guest residences and hostel areas.
Participants are expected to uphold the principles of honesty and integrity during sessions, group work, and any form of academic engagement.
Plagiarism, cheating, or falsification of information will be dealt with seriously.
Help us maintain our beautiful and eco-sensitive Himalayan campus—avoid littering, wasting water, or damaging plants and facilities.
Use waste bins and support the Institute’s sustainability efforts.
IIT Mandi is a public institution and its infrastructure is built with public funds. Participants must not damage, misuse, or deface any property.
Intentional or negligent damage to any facility may lead to financial and/or legal liability.
