Hey, I am Shreya Jain

I graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu. My passion lies in Machine Learning, with a particular focus on Natural Language Processing. I am committed to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

My professional journey includes a Software Development role at Flipkart, where I managed a Scheduler-as-a-Service platform catering to high-scale traffic and integrated advanced backend technologies like Kafka and Kubernetes. Additionally, as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, I co-authored research on improving knowledge representations in Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuned multi-billion parameter models to enhance multilingual reasoning.

Beyond my industry experience, I have authored and contributed to publications at conferences like EMNLP, NAACL, and AMLC, exploring innovative methods in intent detection and abstractive knowledge representation. I also have hands-on experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Altruist Technologies, where I built a full-stack application and optimized database performance.
