This national conference is first of its kind which is completely dedicated to materials dealing to extreme environments like cryo and high temperatures, hypersonic speeds and high strain rates or loading conditions. These materials are of utmost importance for defence and space sectors of Government of India and are of central focus in achieving ATMA-NIRBHARTA in defence and space domains.
The conference aims in bringing together leading researchers, scientists, and industry experts working in the field of materials for extreme environments from different institutes like IITs, IISc and national labs like DMRL, GTRE and ISRO. There is also an attempt to fetch the participation of private industries like BHARAT FORGE, SKYROOT who have demonstrated MAKE IN INDIA abilities for Defence and Space Materials. This august gathering of both industry and academia will lead to strong and solution oriented discussions on recent advances, challenges, and opportunities in materials for extreme environments.
