Deposition Modelling of ambient particles in Human Respiratory System
Clear distinction of source types in urban and rural areas was observed. In urban sites, Vehicular emissions deposition in the pulmonary section of human respiratory tract was noticed. In rural sites, Biomass burning and Dust emissions were major sources impacting public health negatively.
A Cross-sectional Study conducted among the residents of IIT Guwahati after the Air Pollution Episode - DIWALI
Health Risk Assessment revealed that the Diwali episode showed a risk level increase of 0.5% in health effects
