Over last several decades Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) has been successfully employed for structural elucidation of small as well as macromolecular systems both in solution and in solid state. Besides structure, NMR methods enable visualization of molecular dynamics that plays a major role in determining behavior of molecules in condensed phase. Recent advances in magnet technology, design of multidimensional pulse sequences, applicability of multi-nuclear experiments in various research fields allowed NMR to emerge as one of the most powerful analytical tool.
The major focus of our group is to decipher dynamics and interaction of small molecules both in solution and solid state by employing Magnetic Resonance (MR) methods based on relaxation, molecular diffusion, chemical exchange and magnetization transfer.
